Combat Patch

I just finished making the pamphlets for the Combat Patch Ceremony we have tomorrow. We officially get our Combat Patches. It’s the patch that goes on the right shoulder, signifying that you’ve been to combat with the unit in which the patch belongs. We’re attached to the 3rd Sustainment Brigade, so that’s the patch we’re getting:

Many soldiers here have taken to going to the gym on a daily basis, to either just get their PT in for the day, or in many cases, to either lose weight or gain muscle or tone. I think I might start going, perhaps tone up a little bit. I haven’t decided when I’m going to go during the day, (perhaps right after work, once we no longer have the internet in our CHUs.)

The Foos-Ball Tourne went well, the champion won again with only one loss. He had to work for it though, our supply sgt gave him a workout down to the last point of the competition.
