Look Forward
Posted by CrazySane on October 25th, 2007 filed in Daily Life, UpdatesI decided today, that I’m in the prefect position to attempt to get a better paying job in Richmond. So I’ve spent the last few hours putting together my resume. I started off by posting on Monster.com. Hopefully I’ll get at least a few job offers before this whole deployment is over with.
I’ve also placed a request to be contacted by the University of Phoenix. I might start taking online classes from them, they offer the same major I was taking at ITT Tech. It should prove to be quite a bit cheaper than ITT, and I am going to find out if I can get my GI Bill for going there, even though it’s online. (I think I can.)
So let’s get this ball rolling.

Much love, it’s bed time.

Good for you, it is always a good idea to move and improve. Of course you know I am going to throw in a “but” and it is make sure what you get is better than what you have….the grass always look greener elsewhere…just be sure you count all the little “pluses” you have at that job before you go to another….also people that pay more..expect more. So sometimes the atmosphere of a job to look forward to everyday is more important than the once a week paycheck. I know you will do the right thing just a few words of wisdom from someone who made some hasty choice for money rather than see the whole picture. Miss You.
