Tears Like Rain

It’s the first real rainfall I’ve seen here. It’s cold and beautiful. As beautiful as it is, I hated walking in it today, and I’m dreading the walk back to my Living Quarters in a few minutes.

Last night, I finished an Audiobook, “The Choice” by Nicholas Sparks. I cried at the end, as I normally do with Sparks’ books. It’s a sappy love story, also keeping with Sparks’ style, but he crafts his books majestically, and I love to read them. The book reminded me a lot of Sara, but I suppose that’s what makes him a good writer, crafting characters that everyone can relate to. Knowing that tho, doesn’t make it any less of a masterpiece.

Alright, well I can’t put off walking back any longer if I want to catch anymore sleep before I have to be in work, I have to go to a class later this morning… looks like a day I’m not going to want to forget my rain coat.
