WTF People!

Damnit. My sites (all of them), email, SSH, EVERYTHING just went down again for an hour.
This is getting really silly. This time they say they were having a problem with one of their internal switches.. and it was blocking internal traffic between the SQL Servers and (most of) the Webservers. As most (all?) of my websites are SQL based, every one of them went down right along with it. (as did the SQL based webmail.) I have discovered that the SSH problem is that the firewall in question is blocking the web servers access to the disk arrays, so they can’t retrieve any data (including my login certificate, required to login to SSH.)

Well, I suppose I’ll continue to type in this entry… as my sites were only up for about a minute, and went down again. Between the time they came up, and I typed the above paragraphs, it was down again. Good thing FF remembers form data when you hit the back button.

Damnit, I’m getting closer and closer to making the hard choice of switching Data Centers.
